Hey!

So, I've pretty much just finished the basic tutorial as my RRF Alien Science Officer... and I've already hit a wall of anxiety about choices.

I've tried to read up on guides - tenforward, the "newbie to cluebie" guide, and "constructing a skill tree" in particular, and they all seem to be working from an assumption of a certain degree of knowledge and progress that I don't have.

My big worry, which unfortunately some of these guides have reinforced, is that I'm going to make "bad" choices that are going to significantly stymie my ability to level and do content, and that it's going to be hard to fix those mistakes.

Is this reasonable? Or am I just overreacting by reading too much i

Help me reddit.

I've been trying to use ID to passively craft things in Blood Magic Alchemy Tables, buuuuut... it's not working like I'm hoping.

I've found a few ways to approximate what I want, but it keeps not quite working.

I'm trying to move items from an inventory to the table, mapping specific items to specific slots on the table. I want to move one and only one item to each slot.

EIO Limited Item Filters do the job for recipes where there's 6 unique items, but where ingredients are duplicated in a recipe, they don't work.

Using a choice variable to block out the transfer when the table is full? Easy.

Using an Inventory Reader to rotate items through slots? Easy.

So, I think it should be pretty clear at this point that Themis is likely to turn out to be Elidibus (we literally hear him speak in the post credits scene, and that Erichthonius is being set up to become "our" Lahabrea.

The themes of the emotional and philosophical legacy people inherit from their parents is pretty clear.

That got me thinking about Themis, and his appearance, and robes, specifically. We now know that white robes are a sign of someone who has chosen not to pass on after completing their duty, such as Venat. Who has very similar eyes, hair and facial features to Themis.

So, what happens when someone who should have passed on, has a child? What would the Etheryians think

Hey!

So, I'm looking for a new expert type pack. I've finished PO3 Normal (in an overworld) and, I tried Titan in skyblock, but just cba with the endless manual gravel/sand generation and sieveing needed to get started. Ive got about 75% of the way through Omnifactory and just sort of switched off when I realised that all I have left is automating a few more tiers of miners to get more tiers of miners.

I have a soft spot for E2E, as it was the first proper pack I tried, but so much is redundant or irrelevant, it just feels wasteful to me, and I feel bad for skipping it, and I feel bad for spending time exploring it when it's not actually helping me in any way.

Omnifactory was the best ex

Pixies and Pronouns

Spoiler[Discussion]

As an agender person, I really appreciated the touch of making pixies using they/them/their pronouns.

Too many people think it's not correct grammar to use them in the third person singular, but it's fitting that Shakespeare, the most popular source of inspiration for Fey themes, also used them this way.

Hi all,

Looking at the meta for Raids and comments here it looks like I should be looking for Minstrel Ascended gear and filling a support tank role, which I'm happy with, and I think I have my head around. However, there doesn't seem to be an Exotic equivalent to Minstrel, meaning that getting entry gear isn't possible. Is this the case? If so, what is my next course for gearing up?

Thanks in advance

Dear middle class conservatives.

You are not rich. You will likely never be rich.

£1,000,000, a number that sounds "quite low", is enough money to retire on at 18, draw the average salary for 40 years and never work again thanks to the interest.

You wouldn't live a flashy life, but you'd lead an average one.

Stop fucking over yourselves and those worse off than you by supporting economic policy that rewards those who earn more in a year than most people do in a lifetime.

That politician who "only" inherited £300,000 from his father? Just got paid for 12 years worth of work at the average wage, tax free. Yes, inheritance tax sounds dreadful if you were looking to leave your children

So, I did a search before posting, and didn't find anything, so apologies if this is a repost.

There's a charity in the UK called the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) dedicated to preventing male suicide, who run a brilliant ad campaign, that I wanted to share with you all. (official link) :

Hi all,

I'm thinking about returning, I've played off and on, (mostly off) and I know that since RoV, gear has become trivial to get and stay on top of while levelling.

My question is, have spells? Are key enhances still horrifyingly expensive coughphalanxcough. Are certain spells still locked behind city campaign rankings?

Are the above still true but it doesn't matter anyway because higher ranks are available for pennies?

Thanks!

Hi all,

This is probably a ridiculous question, but I'm playing my first actual D&D game soon, and I'm concerned about a particular facet of the class/spells that I've chosen being a bit munchkin-y.

I'm playing a Bladesinger, with Mage Armor as part of my load out. With +3 Dex and +4 Int, Bladesong and Mage Armor put me at AC 20. With middle of the road Con, I'm at 20 hit points at level 3, so vulnerable to spells and similar effects, but I'm just concerned that it's a bit of a cheap combination. I've picked a character-appropriate set of spells (a couple of ranged attacks, Sleep, Unseen Servant, See Invisible and Magic Weapon) to play the part of an arcane adept with martial train

Ok, so to preface, I was, and still am, an adherent of the 'max my group DPS' school of thought while tanking and healing. This post uses the word 'us' to represent the tanking community as a whole, and not any given individual.

That said, I am impossibly glad to be seeing the back of the STR tank meta. Because it was corrupted and festering.

Before 3.0, the aggression tank meta was about balancing survivability with damage output. The guidance was 'start with VIT, and then move to taking as much STR as you feel comfortable sacrificing your survivability for', not 'stack strength'.

Somewhere in Heavensward's early days, we forgot situational awareness and started treating all dunge

Hi all,

I'm a tech support type myself (service management, ex-2nd line), but I'm having some weird issues with my personal desktop.

I'm running with a two year old i5, and a corsair TX550M,with 1 6GB DDR3 and a new, two week old gtx 970

Under some conditions, it works absolutely fine (GW2 and FFXIIIs pc port spring to mind as what I've tried most recently but the moment I open certain games past the menu, (AC:S gets to the point I actually reach the game, the animus load screens run fine) or run benchmarks like Fire Strike, graphics stop being passed to the monitor, every fan in the box goes into overtime, and any audio being played slows by a factor of about a hundred (the windows 10

So, everyone bitches about the credit cap being P2W/P2Progress, but how much does it actually bolster you by?

Credit based stat growth seems tiny at the moment for my lowly 15k self compared to the much larger contribution from Sparks, or other gated content.

How big is the boost one can get from credits, really, as a proportion of overall stats/damage output/mitigation?

So, I got bored, and decided to compile a list of “named” weapons, and their meanings.

I’ve excluded weapons where the name is pretty self-explanatory, or is just a “type” of weapon, and kept it to real world mythological or historical references.

Oh, and sorry Monks, there’s not a single weapon for you guys that has basis in myth or a historical figure
