0.16 Beta means BACK UP YOUR GAMES!

Howdy there folks! I know a lot of you are super excited to try out the stuff in the 0.16 Android beta, but before you do that, you know what you should do, right?

That's right! BACK UP YOUR SAVED WORLDS!

First of all, this is just a good idea in general. However, there are a number of changes occurring in the recent beta updates that cause alterations to the directory structure of the com.mojang folder (i.e. "The place where your save games live"). This folder is NOT reverted when you leave the beta, and as such you may experience some major issues if you opt out of the beta and go back to the retail version of the game.

As such, it is highly recommended that you back up the whole com.mojang folder (if you have not yet opted into the beta), or at least the MinecraftWorlds folder within it. If you experience any issues opting in or out of the beta, please try to delete the com.mojang folder and restore from a backup to see if that fixes the issue. See the above link for how to do so.
