[OPEN] The Science of Sabotage

The doors to the science lab slide open and in strides engineer Redoran T'gel, holding an unwieldy stack of sealed plastic boxes with a slew of PADDs stacked on top of it. The short Bajoran deposits her burden on the nearest unoccupied work table with a 'clunk' and wipes a few drops of sweat from her brow.

Visible through the sides of the boxes are the burnt and melted remains of the devices the pirates used to sabotage the warp core. The labels on the box read, in Red's handwriting, "Pirate HOTPACK do NOT TOUCH."

That done, Red asks the replicator for one glass of drinking water, gets a pale blue algae slurry instead, and sighs as she sits down and rests her head against the plastic boxes, puzzling over their contents.
