I agree with this fully. The poem isn't bad. I actually really like it. You've displayed the emotional core you wanted to--the speaker's overworked feelings he got around girls he's liked.  I would additionally suggest removing the word "campfire." It seems out of place, and using campfire as opposed to a normal fire doesn't really do much. If anything it lessens its potential impact. Campfires are controlled, tamed, restricted. Normal fires may not be controlled. They may just become wildfires. 

Ok so this reads more like a song than a poem to me. You've clearly focused very hard on how you're saying this with regards to rhyme but your vocabulary could use some more attention. Try using less formulaic, cliché language ("love is a rose", "dear lord I might just stop and sin for a while") and instead tell us *why* love reminds you of a rose, if possible without mentioning the actual word "rose". 

Other than that, this is a good and very relateable poem ;)

Dig deeper into your vocabulary definitely. Take some risks. This poem feels very safe, especially considering it is about something as unpredictable, reckless and maddening as love.

This was really catchy and enjoyable. You captured my attention from the first line and didn't let it go. The imagery was damn good and the theme of unrequited love was pretty relateable as a whole. Well done, it seems you're new here and you're off to a great start.

This is very song-like. I can almost hear a piano play while I read this. It is very simple, direct, but lacks deepness. I want to feel your emotion, too, I don't just want to read it. Other than that, this is a good poem. Thank you for sharing.

As someone else has pointed out, there's a good chance the narrator (and hence the author possibly too) is a 'she', given some of the word choices. 

Is it a good written poem?  No, it's too singsongy and silly.  But is it a good *spoken* poem?  I'd say so.

The sonic elements are there, in a presentation that conforms *enough* to conventional rhyme and meter to flow (which is hardly at all) but deviates from it hugely, abandoning any notion of the piece being blank verse altogether.  I could see this piece being read at a slam, an open-mic, or even a rap and being successful.  I mean eh, it's still kinda shallow and I think your images could be better, but if anyone says there's no value in this piece, they're wrong.  It's all about the *sounds*.

So keep writing dude.  You're at a good place right now.

As a song this works, as a poem it doesn't. The rhythmic irregularities kill this for print media, though I can definitely see it as lyrics.

On the lyrics side, maybe don't attribute a girl's smile to slut shaming in the Scarlet Letter. I'm no SJW but in the world of writing this will land you in hot water.
