So I've just seen Kill List. Got any more obscure movies like it? [Spoilers]

Alright, so I just finished Kill List. It was fuckin' awesome except I had trouble understanding a lot of the early dialogue as I was getting used to the main characters' incredibly thick accents. It merited another watch so I'm sure I'll catch a lot more next time.

Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone can recommend any more slow-burn "Unsuspecting, Overeager Sap Done In By Mysterious And All-Powerful, Supernatural Cabal That Secretly Comprises Everyone You Know" type movies. It's coming to be one of my favorite tropes. Obviously, by revealing the nature of movie in this case it can spoil the ending.

I've already seen--and mostly loved--the most obvious ones, like Rosemary's Baby, Starry Eyes, and The Wicker Man, but don't let that stop you from recommending them.

The VVVVVVVitch is my favorite movie, at least right now. House of the Devil is one of my favorites, too. I haven't seen Angel Heart or Race With The Devil, though, so I'll look into those.

One of the best - and scariest - films I've seen that fits into your category is the Japanese found-footage horror 'Noroi' (The Curse). It's a very slow-burn, but believe me when I say it'll pay off if you watch it till the end.

That film really took me on an adventure, truly terrifying as well!

Great recommendation. One of my faves.

Not a movie, but you should give Utopia a try.

Tried Sightseers?

Same director as Kill List, Jet black comedy horror worth a watch.

What are you thoughts on The Wicker Man? I thought it was aight but one thing that didn't make sense is why he's searching for the girl if he saw her die. Did I miss something?

Are you talking about The Wicker Man from 1973 or the Nic Cage remake thing? I haven't seen the remake, but Howie (the cop) in the original didn't see the girl die.

Nic Cage. I didn't know it was a remake..

Watch the original on the upcoming equinox. You're in for a treat!

BasattaOP•

The Nic Cage one may well be the worst remake of all time.

The Conspiracy might fit the bill. I don't know if it fits the "supernatural" angle but it is still a REALLY good film that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout.

I really enjoyed The Conspiracy. In fact, it fits the bill so perfectly that I very nearly included it in the original post.
