Alchemist - Armlet and Radiance timings?
Just picking the hero up, obviously bounty runes are going to impact item timings massively but what are the general timings I should try to reach?

Doesn't matter. Get them as fast as you can, don't assume the game is automatically won if you get an 8 min radiance, don't sit in fountain if you don't have armlet until 15 min.
I know the game isn't lost or won if I do or don't reach the ideal timings, I was just wondering what the good timings are
Watch your most recent replay (or if it's expired, play another), then use that as a benchmark. If you can consistently get faster and faster, you'll get better at that hero. It's slow and steady, but realistic.
What 'good timings' are can be pretty variant because of stacks. If you ever watch a 6-7k avg mmr game with alchemist mid sometimes there are literally 3 camps stacked 5 times before 10 minutes. If alchemist manages to clear those that is an absurd boost of gold you won't get if you don't have stacks. No matter how perfect you lane your timings will never match someone who has 3x5 stacks made for him if you have 0 stacks made for you.
Get boots, soul ring, qb
Armlet - 6-7 min
Radiance - 13-14 min, any timing up to 15 min is good
Was watching purge's video earlier where he played alch, he said that soul ring was optional if you have a cm in your team. Something to keep in mind
If your team can control runes or your team does not use the courier often and you can bottle crow, then bottle is good.
Soul ring is the safe option because you need neither runes nor bottle crowing.
Regardless alch pretty much always needs soul ring or bottle.
In other words, bottle is shit under 4-5k.
What situation would you go the SolarCrest/Blink build? Or is that just not something you should do in pubs.
Depends if you want to be a ganker or carry. Generally alch is a carry since he gets so much gold, but if guys on your team have amazing scepter upgrades, you can go solar crest/blink and be a more supportive alch, giving away scepters.
You can go this build, but the radiance one is much stronger.
If you do an early fighting build make sure you actually get points in stun early and maybe even max it before the other two skills. The 4/0/4 build that radiance rushers use is antithetical to the early fighting build.
The biggest strength of the fighting build is the huge impact of a max timed stun being combined with blink or shadow blade.
