Kinda sad that she portrayed herself to be the defender of truth while she hides to avoid allegations and she's a senator to boot.
Time and time again public officials have shown that they are not really worthy of our trust(of course not all).

Ping is just saying that there is enough evidence on hand to file a case. He's not saying that she's guilty, just that a case can be filed - and that some of the evidence they have can be verified. Getting past probable cause to file a case is different from the case being tried and the defendant being proven guilty.

This! Enough evidence to file a case but they chose to do a trial by publicity, why? Because it is not enough to prove De Lima guilty.

Going against Duterte is obviously political suicide at this point - if not actual suicide. I'm betting Duterte and his people keep a list of people they'll "take care of" when he finally gets his coveted "dicktatorship"

It doesn't seem to be that, really. Most redditors criticized De Lima for her grandstanding with not credible "witness." But... the proper place for these accusations really is through the criminal justice system, not what is taking place now, so people don't really comment on this/don't really like it. The legal system exists for a reason, and these weird he said/she said games play out like some strange high school drama...

Its really not looking good for De Lima. If she is indeed guilty, then good riddance.
I think they should file the case, instead of throwing slut shaming trash at her. The court is the proper venue to bring all of those accusations.

But seriously, her only option now is to seek asylum (in the US or UK maybe) if she does not want to be persecuted.
Then again, it's De5, she will/may stand her ground and maybe plead to the international media to play the victim card.
She can also use the Legendary Wheelchair.
Wheelchair is about to get nerfed tho.
As long as there is evidence and it holds up, she deserves conviction but the question is will prosecution execute properly considering it hasn't been exactly the cleanest senate hearing.
I just want this thing to end kinda getting sick of hearing this over and over again I don't know even have a side in the fight I just want to hear something else in the news for a change.
