Minimum Tenacity to Resist Han's Stun

I run a droid team with JE in arena and hang in the top 20 so I'm typically facing maxed out squads. I've been seeing a lot of Han Solo's lately so I decided to boost my JE's tenacity with mods to help resist the stun, however I just have not been seeing any difference in the stun proc. The 2 regular Han's I face have potency of 42.08%, whereas my JE has 53.6% tenacity. I still get stunned EVERY time I play on offense, so I'm beginning to think that boosting his tenacity is a waste of time. Do I need a tenacity-potency difference of more than 15% to even see a difference than if I had no tenacity at all?

I wouldn't be surprised if his ability had some higher-than-normal chance to apply or something. It is meant to be a special opener.

Based on how the devs have described potency and tenacity working, yes. Resist=tenacity-potency, but never less than 15%. So tenacity only has an effect if it's at least 15% higher than potency.

I suspected that might be the case. Seems like it still not worth it then to invest in tenacity.

base on what the dev said, yeah, not until they fix this broken mechanism

Not so sure it is broken. Potency needs to be stronger than tenacity or else half the toons would be rendered useless as their main effects would be impossible to land.

No, it's the opposite. Tenacity needs to be stronger than potency+15% to make any difference.

AI is rigged, im sure AI Han has more than 42.08%. Offence Han has 42.08%.

Just to be clear, unmodded Han has one of the worst potencies: 12%! Just awful. For that reason, I have to mod him fully with potency (mine is just under 68% for him to stun reliably, especially against Palp-led teams (due to Palp's -32% potency against rebels).

You need 57% tenacity to even begin to help. To resist 50% of the time, you need 92% tenacity.

tenacity is completely broken ... but if it wasn't broken then Papa Pal wouldn't be so effective in Arena ...

I'm okay with the current tenacity mechanic. That said, you need to fully devote to it in order to see results , ie. ramp your JE up to 57+ to begin seeing additional resistance chance over the 15% baseline.
