Sydney-based Shapers?

I'm looking to get a twin keel fish made. Anyone have any recommendations on local shapers?

There's PCC boards in the shire. The guy there does make a lot of retro looking boards. I just had a custom 6'4 egg made by him for $750.

My mate had a board made by misfit shapes and he was pretty happy with with it. They usually throw in a discount on fins and other things when you purchase the board. Probably around the same price as PCC, maybe a bit dearer.

Hey ProjectNo6,

Understandably it's not exactly in Sydney, and the trek up coast to Byron Bay may be a bit more than you would prefer; still, I would recommend Simon Jones for a keel fin fish.

I'm not sure if he retails any of his shapes out of any of the local surf shops in Sydney, but it may be worth sending him an e-mail to inquire about that or see if you guys can work something out that is good for the both of you. Along with a few of his other shapes, his keel fin fish is on my soon to acquire list.

I hope you find what it is you are looking for, and may good fortune be near to you in your search.

So many! Nick Blair @ joistik! But for a twiny maybe better go to Nick miles at sculpt surfboards or Jon at Chaos. Maybe Mauricio at MGM too.

You have some bigger brands in the northern beaches , but it's pretty boring standard stock stuff.. Chilli, Panda, Misfit etc
