Teal is one of my favorite colors too! And the Gold one was meant to be warmth, but it is kind of a cliche association. Thank you for the feedback/praise! If you ever need feedback let me know :)

Yeah I don't really understand that first comment. I don't think the colors *you* used are used that often :/ I may be uncultured though haha ... probably not. I especially like "blue eyes in green light" just cause teal is one of my favourite colors and the imagery is really nice. 

Because I've read your other piece "My Favourite Memnory of Us" I don't think you should associate gold with laughter. My favourite piece here would have to be I. Brown. I like it more than the others because although the metaphor is a cliche (of being pulled into your lover's eyes) I really like the imagery here as well.

They're intended to be related to haikus in form. How can the lines be "fragmented and loose?" As far as originality, this series has 15 original images/conceits, and develops them in a way that's associated with the psychology (some colors, like brown, silver, and black are the lesser known associations) of different colors (one of your suggestions) while connecting physically to the imagery.

I like the idea, but feel as though it is too structured. I think it would be really neat to have the numbering and the initial appearance of structure, but then have the contents be fragmented and loose.

Also, I feel as though you should look for more originality, or at the very least put some sort of twist on the things that everybody already associates with colors, or use them to build up to something unusual.

Otherwise, it looks like a good start. Keep up the work. :)

The Color Chronicles: iii. Emotion

an asteroid belt

descends down a black hole;

pupils dilate

II. Pink

the dawn sun grows

a gorgeous gown

out of tulles of tulips

III. Teal

blue eyes in green light:

flooded flumes

languidly linger

IV. Silver

fog soaked tree silhouettes

in a colorless sky;

ice frosted glass

laughter fills the loft

as morning sun blankets

the pillows in pillars
