She mentioned getting married at 28, kind of late in my opinion

What the actual fuck.

28 is a bit old if you plan on having ten kids, which is a good idea if you're on a farm in 1850 and can't guarantee more than 5 will survive past childhood.

Well d'uh, christmas cakes and all, you know? It's written on the internets man! Otherwise Japanese girls obviously bring shame to their whole exotic culture. Besides, waifus should be as young as possible, yeah...

What can I expect from a Babymetal sub..

If a woman doesn't get married and start popping out kids by 30 their ovaries shrivel up and she grows a penis.

So THAT'S where futas come from! Huh.

In China they have the "left over women"

If you are not married by 27 then you are seen as unwanted and it's a really negative thing in some traditional families. Some women even hire fake boyfriends and husbands , leading to some comedy and sadness

here's one video in it, though odds are this is a dying trend

It's refreshing to see one in however many thousands realize that what they do is exploitation and then proceed to do nothing about it.

Wow. "thier"

Anyway, here's a TL;DR:

BABYMETAL child star/celebrities had very difficult childhoods juggling highly managed entertainment careers with growing up. They will eventually be left permanently damaged psychologically (or something). They should quit while they're winning, but if they do I fear my wank bank will need replenishing at some point.

Feedback welcomed in the form of hair-pulling and expletives only please. I am but a snowflake.

EDIT: I might have improved his English. I don't blame him, he was probably wank-crying while writing his wall of text. I was cry-wanking.

So, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it the case for groups like this which are put together by the labels and studios that once the girls reach a certain age, they "retire" and get replaced by younger girls? So, theoretically, wouldn't the band be forever made up of younger teens?

Haven't you watched anime? They have a ton of clones of the members in test tubes.

That's a lot of obsessive thinking over a bunch of 12-year-olds.

one day we need to have a long conversation about grown-ass men being obsessed with little Asian girls.

I suggest you set up shop outside the AKB48 theater, and go from there.

One day BABYMETAL will end....

Some day BABYMETAL will end.

I expect this won't be popular but I have been thinking about it for awhile now.

All three of the girls started in the entertainment/music/modeling business when they were very young. We see them in videos, inteviews and in pictures and they always look very happy.

But we know that in reality they have bad days and they can't be that happy all the time. What teenager is ? I think we see them putting on thier best face for us, Tatame, no matter how they are really feeling.

I think back to the time Yui collapsed after a show and the time Moa had to go to the hospital for heat exhaustion. I wonder how they continue to push themselves to perform concert after concert, city after city, at such a high level. I wonder how this is taking a toll on them physically but I wonder even more how it affects them mentally.

Su has mentioned that there is another side of her. She also talks about Su-Metal as if it is a different person that she becomes. Where she plays as Su-Metal, almost like an actress would do. When I was reading about that I wondered what her true self, Suzuka Nakamoto, was feeling. Does Suzuka want something different ? Does This girl dream or feel the same things as Su-Metal ?

In a video Moa said that she wanted to travel outside of Japan and she has done that. Although, she still needs to go to Australia and hold a Koala bear :) What are her dreams after accomplishing this and so much more ? She mentioned getting married at 28, kind of late in my opinion, but she was very young when she said it. Does she still want to get married and maybe have kids ?

Does Yui have similar thoughts or does she want to get into fashion or start a tomato farm ? Maybe she would like to live a more normal life. Then again, being a star who tours the world and is adored by thousands of fans must be pretty awesome for all of them. I think they really do love what they are doing most of the time but I imagine there are many days when they feel like it is all too much to handle.

Now I know this might seem crazy, coming from a BABYMETAL addict, but I really hope that BABYMETAL will disband after a few more years. I think 2020 would be a good time. In 2020 they will have been at it for 10 years. I think that is long enough.
I also think they don't even need to tour outside Japan. Whaaat !? Yeah, I actually worry about them when they are going all over the world. I think they could just stay in Japan and have plenty of success. It worked for other Japanese artists and it could work for them too. Why go all the way to New York to play for 2600 people when you can easily get 10 times that many at a concert in Japan ? Maybe with less travel, less shows and having more time for themselves that could be a way to play beyond 2020 without sacrificing family and friends as much.

For all the things they are doing, just think of all the things they have not been doing. Being home with thier family and being around thier friends on a daily basis. Being in a "normal" environment where they can just be regular teenagers. Just being able to relax and be themselves. They are missing out on all of these things and more.

I know it sounds silly to compare the life they currently live with what we would think of as mundane. Yes, they have the fame and fortune now but I think they will need something different in thier lives soon. Put yourself in the shoes of a person who has been on the "treadmill" since they were 10 years old.

Go, Go, Go, Go, here, there, make up, sound check, interview, catering, perform a show then to the hotel, study, do this, do that, smile for pictures, again, again, again. Practice. Just one more picture. More practice. Just one more interview. In the van. On the plane. To the hotel, Sleep. Now do it all over the next day and repeat that for the next 5 years. Now 5 more years. Sounds like fun ? It sounds pretty intense and exhausting. They are just teenagers. It's something to think about.

I'm sure it is exciting when they go out on stage and It's been a great adventure for all three of the girls but they have been doing this for most of thier lives. Maybe I am wrong. I know they said they don't like to take to much time off. Maybe they could not imagine doing anything else. But I still have the feeling they wouldn't mind just being normal people after so much pressure and non-stop performing.

Many childhood stars have commented that being a child star was very difficult for them. We all know that being a normal kid has it's challenges but being a star who has a job and fame is another thing all together. Not only are they going to school but they are working and dealing with a career on top of it. I imagine having that kind of pressure put on you at such a young age would be even more difficult and stressful.

http://childhoodtraumarecovery.com/2013/10/30/childhood-fame-the-downside/

These girls seem to be in good hands but Amuse is a business and business is about profit. Would anyone be surprised if Amuse and the management put profit over the girls well being ? Wouldn't Amuse encourage them to keep on going, doing more and more to keep that profit flowing even if it meant sacrificing thier "personal" lives ? I imagine thier families are keeping a close eye on everything they do. But even family can put the "fame" and "success" over what these girls might really want or need.

In conclusion I think BABYMETAL have already become more successful than they imagined they would have ever become. After a few more years, I really think it is time to wind it down and the girls should enter the next phase of thier lives. Will they do that ? OTFGK.

If keeping BABYMETAL going 10 more years makes them happy that is great. But if they feel they need to stop I support that too. Ultimately, I look forward to whatever they decide for the future as long as it is what all of them really want.

Women in their early-mid 20's have a better chance of getting pregnent than those from age 29 and on. Also, the baby has a better chance of being healthier to a woman in her early 20's. If they plan on having more than one child then waiting until they are near 30 to have the first child can make future pregnancies more problematic. http://imgur.com/luuEFLW

Many ありがとうs for the graph on conception rates with regards to age. Many なるほどs were had.
