I wish this utterly beautiful thought was longer. I don't like the title. I think a title that was less personal would be more fitting. But i really love this. Nice job. Keep doing words.

Three lines and I read it 8 times. Love it.

Simple and elegant. I feel there is so much depth here to contemplate in a simple statement that is anything but simple

I appreciate the feedback. Yeah, the title was rushed as in I was submitting this and I didn't have a title so it made me type one in. I wanted the poem to kind of answer a question, but I agree the title is too simplistic. Thanks again!

Apart from the title, which I don't think compliments the more holistic quality of the content of the poem, I find the simplicity of the emotions you're trying to express venerable. I think perhaps you could have formatted it differently by cutting it into different pieces but overall very sweet and pensive, compliments my coffee nicely. Thanks!

I really like it. Thank you for sharing. (and more please)

Definitely like the title. It reminds me of H.D.'s poem Oread a little, and I actually think you could expand it. To my mind, the whole attraction of the piece is 1) its simplicity, and 2) its relatable theme, namely love. However, it mostly plays on one gimmick: the title being the words of someone else. There's not too much going on thematically here; that is to say, you're not making a controversial or opinionated statement about anything. I think that if you wanted to continue working on this piece, or make another in the same vein, you could do something very interesting by presenting a "turn" in which the expectations that the reader has of a simple statement of love turn out to be wrong in some way.

That being said, they're two good lines. Nice.
