Looking for something.

So, i had this idea of a storyline for a campaign, but I do not know what a good system might be for it. I want to do a cyberpunk style, but more with an emphasis on modern combat, so more today's firearms (chemical propellant ones) I want to sit in a tech level and theme like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, so plenty of cybernetics but not "eat your soul." kind of deal.

I'm trying to find one that also handles combat pretty well, especially with just 4 or 5 players.

What do you think are some good recommendations? I was thinking of using Pathfinder with the Technology Guide and rebuild portions to accommodate more appropriate firearms rather than sci-fi styled ones.

Cyberpunk 2020 sounds like exactly what you need. Has pretty much everything, and the "Friday night gunfight" rules are amazing.

r/Shadowrun , but just limit your world to the parts you want

Gonna say Feng Shui 2 has all the stuff you want in it, and much more fun combat that anything crunchy like PF or Shadowrun. ALso has the "badass shotgun rule" where if you (the player) audibly go "cha-chak!! before rolling, you deal +1 Damage.

Traveller with the Cybernetics supplement could work. You might have to adjust the tech level of some of the items.

Savage Worlds could do that quite easily. Sci-Fi companion would probably be helpful, but if you stick mostly to current-era technology, you could probably do with just the core.
