Working on a large space battleship and I've redesigned it after finding myself unhappy with its initial design. I've widened the aft sections to accommodate a proper secondary battery setup but I now need to find a way to make nice side aft portions.
What are some good ideas to make a nice side portion without covering the firing arcs of the turrets?
So, i had this idea of a storyline for a campaign, but I do not know what a good system might be for it. I want to do a cyberpunk style, but more with an emphasis on modern combat, so more today's firearms (chemical propellant ones) I want to sit in a tech level and theme like Deus Ex: Human Revolution, so plenty of cybernetics but not "eat your soul." kind of deal.
I'm trying to find one that also handles combat pretty well, especially with just 4 or 5 players.
What do you think are some good recommendations? I was thinking of using Pathfinder with the Technology Guide and rebuild portions to accommodate more appropriate firearms rather than sci-fi styled ones.
I've been trying to see if my Optimus L9 is compatible. I've heard that some people's phones say it isn't when actually it is, so I just want to be sure. Runs. Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2
Just curious about how you work navigation lights. Currently, I have a ship based upon previous designs that have currently a maritime styled starboard and port light. Green and red respectively. Now my ship is rather tubular, lacking any large wings, just some side panels. (Think of Halo's Stewart-class frigate.) The lights are located on the sides of the superstructure.
So what are your setups on navigation and exterior lights?

So, I'm looking for a new laptop since I find myself unable to use my main desktop rig but I have rather specific specifications I am looking for. Currently my price range is between $800 to $12000. (I am not factoring in the $300 drop-kick warranty. That's assumed an always $300 addon to the base price I'm aiming for)
Currently, I am looking for a few basic things.
1- 3 to 4GB of DDR5 VRAM, using usually the GeForce 970m or AMD equivlent.
2 - Intel i7 CPU Quad Core of 5th Gen.
3 - Of course, plenty of RAM. Around 8GB or maybe 16GB. As long as the laptop can scale to 32GB of RAM later.
4 - 2K screen resolution. Why get a good GPU when the display
limits you?
5 -
Just curious. What names do you give to your ships? Are they specific to their race, specialization if T2/Capital? Any funny names?
God damn it, now I got a girl stuffing crumpets and tea down my American throat! (Was attempting to get Best Big 7 Badass aka Conqueror of Cute things)
My first BB, and it's the Fast Battleship Kongou!
Now I need Ars Nova Kongo so I can have Mrs. Sugar High vs Mrs. Corrosive Torpedo stuck up her ass. (Learned that one cannot get Angry Mental Model Kongo, only shove more torpedoes up her arse.)
EDIT: Happy Birthday to the cute destroyer with shitty attitude.
So, I've been lurking about and reading up on Kantai Collection for awhile now. Seeing that I was bored, I decided to give it a try and wasted hours away.
So, I got three awesome shipgirls off the bat.

I'm probably terrible, just like how terrible I am in EVE Online PVP.
