Recommended Shows by Year - 1973, another one of the big ones!

1973 is a great year for the Dead with a lot of killer shows. These threads are about what we'd recommend FIRST - the best of the year - so keep in mind you are nominating shows that you think are better than other 1973 shows with similar setlists!

Our rules for these threads:

• Top level comments are for nominating shows only.

• Each top level comment should mention/include:

  • whether the show has been officially released, under what name if so
  • include streaming links if at all possible
  • purchase links for official releases would be cool
  • at least some basic reasons WHY you think the show stands out in this incredible year

• Upvote the top level nominating comment if you agree the show is great. Leave it alone if you're not sure or are meh on it. If you downvote, please give an explanation as to why you think that show should not be in the discussion at all. Downvotes should be really rare.

• Post any comments or thoughts about a show as child comments underneath the nominating comment. Feel free to add additional streaming and/or purchase links to be helpful if you have 'em.
