Across the Room Admirer

I sat at the desk
and became distracted by
him folding a blanket
so I watched for a moment;
he was making sure
the blanket fell on top of itself
in equal parts.
Then he picked up the cat
for a mini-snuggle
and existed for that moment
unknowing of
my admiration
and bounty
of love.
