Run away, run away, run away! :D

In the mist of the morning, he cannot fight anymore. He gives in and just listens to this song on repeat.
18
The Sonata vibe will never be like it was in 2005 or something, but when they start playing that song, it always takes me back a little.
6
I saw them live last month, favorite moment was definitely a complete crowd singing Full Moon in perfect harmony.
2
Rhapsody of Fire - Emerald Sword

Rhapsody of Fire - Emerald Sword
This was the first Rhapsody song I ever heard! And still one of my favorites now. Definitely one of those songs that sticks with you even if you haven't heard it in ages.
15
FOR THE KING FOR THE LAND FOR THE MOUNTAINS! FOR THE GREEN VALLEYS WHERE DRAGONS FLY! FOR THE GLORY THE POWER TO WIN THE BLACK LORD I WILL SEARCH FOR THE EMERALD SWORD!
3
FOR THE KING FOR THE LAND FOR THE MOOOOOUNTAIN
1
I frequently get The Clarion Call by Falconer stuck in my head.
24
CAN YOU HEAR THE CLARION CALL
IT'S CALLING OUT TO ONE AND ALL
WHO WILL LIVE AND WHO WILL FALL
WHO WILL WALK THE GOLDEN HALLS
10
Every Freedom Call song basically, they always get stuck in my head.
22
Bang your head or DIE!
7
COMING HOOOOOOOOOME
COME ON HOOOOOOOOME
5
A HAIL TO THE METAL INVASION
🎺🎺🎺

This are the ones I've been lately humming around:
20
It's the chorus of Unicorn Invasion of Dundee that I can't shake.
And I haven't heard that Dragonland song in years! Time to go back.
11
I think Amulet of Justice is catchy as hell as well.
I recently discovered Dragonland through here. Killer album. Really worth coming back to it once in a while.
4
I really love that short drum solo in Amulet of Justice.
1
Freakin Mammoth Rider. I can't get enough of Visigoth lately.
6
Mammoth Rider is one of humanity's crowning achievements
5
gloryhammer is the goddamn best. they were the first power metal band i fell in love with.
1
"Mirror, Mirror" by Blind Guardian
20
Avantasia - Master of the Pendulum
11
Yeah this album is full of good fits for this thread. I never knew Marco did the backing vocals in this one though!
3
Off the new Twilight Force album, there's To the Stars, Flight of the Sapphire Dragon, and Battle of Arcane Might.
11
I think they crammed more power metal into the first 30 of lyrics than I've ever heard!
5
I find Riders of the Dawn always gets stuck in my head.
3
I came here to say Flight of the Sapphire Dragon. Such an amazing song.
2
BEHOLD THE FLIIIIIIIIIGHT OF THE SAPPHIREEEE DRAGON!
1
I love the chorus for Heroes of Mighty Magic as well.
1
To the Stars is so great! With the power of starlight, power of hope...
1
Delirium Veil by Twilightning or my new personal favorite song Emerald Sky off the new Freedom Call
9
Twilightning - Delirium Veil - I like the main riff in this song, but the rest of it didn't grab me. What about this one made you pick it?
5
The chorus, mostly. I'll admit I'm heavily biased towards this album as it was my first foray into power metal
2
Really love "Gone to the Wall" by them too, on the same album.
2
Don't forget The Escapist
2
Affection Seeker is great too but Delirium Veil is still the gold standard
1
When it had just come out this summer, I was listening to Cloudrider by Trick or Treat on repeat constantly. It's a good song, sure, but the catchiness is off the charts.
9
Never heard of this one! The vocalist and the chorus remind me of Avantasia a little.
2
They're kind of a lesser known band. I think the singer is the same guy who sings for LT's Rhapsody.
2
Powerwolf - Amen & Attack
Do we count Run for the Hills by Iron Maiden as powernetal?
And say what you want about Sabaton, but if one yells "Through the gates of hell - as we make our way to heaven..." in a crowd, a significant amount of people will yell "Through the nazi lines. Primo victoria!" In response.

9
Yeah this one's a classic! I think this was the first BG song I heard too so it has a special place in my metal heart
1
Stratovarius - Eagleheart
8
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Dream Evil - The Chosen Ones yet.
8
This song is the inspiration behind the post, Helloween's "Final Fortune":

Been rattling around in my head for several days (again). I don't think the album is more than "OK" but this song is an earworm!

hmm, the catchiest has to be either the unicorn invasion of dundee or elvenlegions
but my favorite is the black mare by dragonland
7
We are the monsters, the tragic poets
1
We should die for the thing we believe in...
7
Liege Lord - Broken Wasteland
Jag Panzer - Licensed To Kill
6
Liege Lord - Broken Wasteland - It's got that classic 80s power-metal-and-heavy-metal-are-still-mostly-the-same-thing vibe! Fun guitar solo(s) too.
- Something about this vocalist puts me off. Love that album art though, haha
3
It's called "USPM."
3
Sure, but that's not nearly as much fun to type out.
3
The Watching is catchy as hell too.
1
I'll say almost anything off of Dreamtale's Epsilon, specifically Firestorm and Angel of Light
6
Dreamtale's Epsilon - Firestorm
This is one of those songs I've heard before but didn't recognize until the chorus. Good stuff!
3
The Cage by Sonata Arctica

That opening solo is definitely ingrained in my mind.
Props for linking everything in the thread OP.
It seems silly not to! The whole point of the thread is to share 'em.
