Works on a T400 also (windows).
Bluetooth 4.0 Daughter Cards (FRU 60Y3303 and 60Y3305) have worked in every older model ThinkPad I've installed one in so far. A really easy, inexpensive upgrade.
Confirmed working in: T61, T400, T410, T420, T420s, T500, X200, X201, X220, X300, X301
I took the long way around and installed a BIOS with the whitelist removed. Put an AC7260 Intel combo card in. Works fine, but you have to disable the Broadcom Bluetooth daughter board in Device Manager to use the Intel Bluetooth.
If you put the AC7260 in and remove the Broadcom Bluetooth daughter board, chances are that the system won't recognize the Bluetooth part of the Intel card due to the bios. I don't know why, but AC7260 Bluetooth won't show up for me unless the Broadcom board is installed (yet disabled).
Hello,
No problems using BDC-4.0 in my X220. The BDCs have never been subject to whitelisting in the X220, as far as I know. Was there ever a model that whitelisted BDCs?

I have done this as well, can confirm it works with Arch at least.
