Hello there.

My Nexus 4 is dying on me and I need a new phone. I heard about the Nextbin Robin and since it's only 179€ on Amazon, it might be exactly what I'm looking for. My questions:

  1. If I keep the stock rom, can I disable the cloud thing? (which I dont' like)
  2. Can I root the stock rom?
  3. How good are the custom roms? Is everything working there, hardware-wise?
  4. My budget is actually 300€. Is there some other phone similar to the Robin? (what I really like in the Robin is the USB type-C and the open bootloader)

Thanks in advance :)

Hi

Since yesterday, suddenly the touch screen of my N4 would not react to touch inputs. Either parts or the whole screen area.

Is the digitizer failing on me? I bought this N4 in late 2013 and I read here that N4's digitilizers fail after some time...

I removed the infinality packages and installed the default ones. Everything still looks fine, expect the Firefox fonts. They are too big, while previously they looked good with infinality. Other browsers are still looking good (Chromium, Tor). For example:

The weird thing is that both Firefox and Tor are using their default font settings and both have 16 as font size: http://i.imgur.com/Y07gC58.png

Firefox issue or fontconfig issue?

EDIT: I remembered that this Firefox package was built on another machine that still has Infinali
