Seth Meyers on KXAN

What's up with KXAN? This makes two nights in a row they cut their signal just before Late Night with Seth Meyers starts. I didn't see any notice and can't find anything mentioning outages on their website or Twitter. I know he's very anti-Trump - surely we're not starting to see censorship.

12/22 - and now football instead of Wheel of Fortune!!! My god - Pat, Vanna - Have they NO decency!!! This is definitely not my America! #movingtothesurvivalshelter

Chill dude. They said they've been working on their signal transmitter. Best time to do that is overnight apparently. Not everything is a big conspiracy.

Tweet or FB message KXAN. See what they say.

Couldn't hurt reaching out to NBC and Late Night as well if you don't get a favorable response from KXAN.

As a last resort, you can file a complaint with the FCC.

KXAN is not a government entity so they can air or not air whatever they want?

Their affiliate agreement with NBC probably says otherwise.

Same problem here. Directv basically shrugged their shoulders when I called. Per social media there was a show both nights. If KXAN/NBC/whomever was fixing something they could have waited one more hour and preempted Carson Daly's dumb show. Very confusing why there would be dead air vs. actual programming.

I remember some dumbass rural stations in the bush era would cut the signal when 60 minutes and stuff like that put out unflattering information. Expecting more of that for the trump era.

Couldn't care less about Sid Myers, but 36 went out Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday night, that I know of. Tonight (Wednesday) it took Channel 54 with it. 54 went out 2 minutes before 36 did. And they're both still out @ 1:30AM.

Obviously a conspiracy if they're also cutting off Family Guy, American Dad and Pawn Stars - notoriously White shows.

Seriously, network television is rife with liberal bias. If you aren't satisfied with the level of anti-Trump screed that kxan is pumping out, just flip to any of the other channels.

Which is why they gave the equivalent of billions in free advertising to Trump.

Hilarious, since when the Fairness Doctrine was repealed, it gave the rise to the Rush Limbaughs etc and gave them a platform where they didn't need to show both sides of the news.
