I received this backpack as a gift from the US and loved it to bits. It's got stolen in Ireland. Can you help me find something similar I can get from EU sellers?

Hi all,

a friend of mine brought this from a US trip because she knew I had trouble finding a backpack I liked.

It was the perfect backpack for me and I used it every day. It got mistreated a good bit, a bottle of bleach opened inside, it took a fair beating when I had a bit of a tumble of my bike, etc. Finally it got stolen in the Dublin Luas.

Or even give me words how I can describe this. The closing mechanism where you use strings to close it, with the flap over it, how would I call that? I can't even say that in my native language.

Stighlorgan is Irish, I have a similar one, just in dark blue denim, might want to check them out. It's more expensive than Everlane though.

I'm not a bit fan of the excessive branding, though. What kills it for me is the lack of a dedicated inner pocket for a small laptop. The Everlane one seems a bit more practical because you can toss in a laptop into a dedicated department and keep a bottle or two in the side pockets.

I totally love that everlane one. Price is reasonable too. Too bad they're sold out for months.

Maybe check out Trakke? I have one of their older bags and love the heck out of it - minimal, durable and functional. It has the type of closure I think you're looking for too. I don't have direct experience with their updated models but they look like a solid update to the one I have.
