I know Kadri started off the year on the Matthews-Nylander PP but he's not on there anymore. He's been out with Marner, Bozak, JVR lately.

Kadri and Bozak on the ice together at the same time has almost always turned into a goal where 9 times out of ten they both end up with a point regardless of if it's a powerplay or even strength.

I'm hoping someone takes an in depth look at their points production per 60 when theyre on the ice together (because it's so rare) and in all situations just to see exactly how effective it is.

I know it's not a line that will happen because of both of their roles, but they seem to read off each other very well.

This seems a perfect example of what Mirtle was talking about. Kadri doesn't make any claims to being John Tavares in this video, if you listen to what he actually says. He talks about characteristics that he admires in Tavares and wants to emulate, but sportsnet's title misreports his words to fit their narrative.

Jesus. I have said it before and I will continue to say it, the word Elite is not a fucking adjective for playing well. Elite is the best of the best, a class of their own. Naz is scoring goals yeah, but elite I wouldn't say so.

The world Elite to me means Top 10. If you are 10 of the best at what you do you can be considered "Elite". Auston Matthews and Nazem Kadri are T-3rd and T-6th in Goal Scoring among Centres in the NHL. So the term "Elite Scorer" does apply to Nazem Kadri in relation to other Centres in the NHL.

Yeah but sustainability and longevity of success also should play into the term elite. Cant just have half of decent season and become elite like that.

I completely agree. This year Kadri has the production of an Elite Centre, but he hasn't been over the course of his career or even the past couple of seasons. He still has earn that title.
