Jordan Reed Snap Count

Player Discussion

Any Jordan Reed owners who watched the game last week noticed that he was barely on the field. While Reed was thrown to 7 times Niles Paul was on the field far more than Reed. They did bring Reed in on crucial short passing situations but this situational use just let the defense hone in on him. In the redzone, for example, they finally brought Reed in (I think for the first time that drive) and used him as a decoy as coverage rolled towards him for Colt McCoy to run for the TD.

Football Outsiders has Reed playing only 39% of Washington's offensive snaps in week 8. Compare that to 65% in week 7 and 58% in week 6.

Did Reed do something to get into Gruden's doghouse? Or is Niles Paul just a

When Charles was entering the league the Chiefs kept giving the majority of the touches to Thomas Jones despite Charles putting up 2 more yards per carry with his touches. We heard the same sort of stuff, that Charles wouldn't be so successful if he was the focal point of the offense, that Jones softened the defense allowing Charles to run wild, etc.

Not to say Antone Smith is anywhere near Charles, but this feels at least somewhat familiar. One RB clearly outperforming the person in front of him with limited touches.

Dunno if I've just hit a streak of serious bad luck, but I've killed 17 of the ghost purple mobs (the two spawns from Sewers of Caldeum, Archivist and Tomekeeper in A2; Feckler's Ghost, Hawthorn Gable and Matriach's Bones in T1) in Torment 6. That should be over 70% drop rate per kill.

I've gotten a grand total of 4 Entsteig plates from 17 kills. Did Blizzard revert their previous buff? Has anyone else noticed this?
