Skating: 9.5/10
Wilson is one of the smoothest skaters you can ever have in hut. Not only are his speed and acceleration top-notch, but his turns and stops are silky smooth, and he can glide-cut with precision with very minimal loss of momentum. Not only that, but his skating ability lasts throughout the whole game, with fatigue only being a factor at the end of a shift, and even then, his skating remains very good.
Puck Skillz/Passing: 9/10
The amount of skill Wilson has with the puck is incredible. He can make clean breakout passes with pressure, deke through multiple players, and has so much control with the puck, as if it was stuck to the blade of his stick. Very rarely does he ever turn it over, and combined with his skating, he can go coast to coast very well, generating solid scoring chances and goals.
Shooting: 9/10
While his shot may not be as strong as an ASG Weber or Foote slapshot, his release remains a fast, lethal threat almost anywhere in the offensive zone. Wilson is one of the few defenders who possess both a lethal wrister and clapper, each having incredible accuracy and power. Wilson can pick corners even if it seems like the goalie has it covered, and rarely does he miss the net, even from the point. One of the best shots I've used out of any player, forward or defenseman.
Physical: 7/10
Really the only part of Wilson's game that is lacking to an extent. Standing only at 6'1 190, there's only so much he can do, even with 92 body checking and 94 strength. Sure, he can body most players bigger than him, but usually it only results in a stumble from the opponent, giving him an opportunity to retrieve the puck, which is still good. However, even though he can body some guys, Wilson himself is prone to getting physically bullied every now and then, especially by larger guys. Just be cautious if you try to play big with him; his stats can only take him so far.
Defense: 9.5/10
Elite, consistent defensive skills. That's pretty much what Wilson has. With a combo of a strong defensive stick, keen play awareness, and solid positioning, Wilson makes the opponents work hard for a scoring chance. He is able to break up so many plays, and transition the puck out of the zone fast to force an opposing retreat. Combined with his tendency to take very few penalties, it creates a scary defensive asset.
Is he worth it???
Hell yeah he is, especially at 140k. He's pretty much a juiced up, left-handed Karlsson who can do it all. Not only can he stop goals from happening, he can also be a top offensive contributor from the blue line, and is the guy you want on the ice in clutch situations. Overall a super elite card, and one of the best left-handed defenders in the game.
