Fossil Q Weather / Google Fit Questions

Just got the Fossil Q Founder (First Gen) and have run into two small issues: the weather on the default face continues to show 0 degrees (I made sure all of the permissions are set correctly) and I also noticed in the Android Wear app I cannot select apps for run tracking, biking, etc. From the looks of it, I will not be able to start a run activity from the watch?

Not really sure what could be causing the issue, but when I switched to a weather watchface I used on the Moto 360, it wouldn't show the weather and instead says "No GPS".
