The clouds lose their rain but never their storm
A calendar stopped on this day,
that bustles with humanity's normality.
And with your mask you are among it,
hiding the closed book of your past &
the hollow holes of your future.
My heart hath heard Her hymn.
I can't listen.
The clouds lose their rain but never their storm,
the wet will dry but history is born.
And as time runs
I'll fade between the minutes;
A spec of dust on your dresser,
another pup in the park.
Missing, wishing, sad, solitary,
regretting, rethinking, alienated, adrift,
but always here.

Go hard on me! I want to know how you interpreted it, or where (if) you got lost or I was unclear. I don't write poetry often - so when I do I care a lot. Thanks :)
