Companies just want to advertise more to your girlfriend than they want to advertise to you. It's trivial for them to differentiate between the two of you (even behind the same IP address), since you'll have a different operating system in your useragent string.

Even if you both delete all your cookies every time you use EngageMe.TV, the advertisers will probably remember who's who for quite a while.

Good insight, she would have a MUCH more robust ad profile if they're pulling it from where I think they are (which would make a lot of sense in this case). I did a little tweaking with my own and I'm seeing marked improvements already. Can't conclusively say anything I did effected it but I am seeing improvement.

could you advise about what tweaks?

Site I was using engage through is linked to my facebook account. Facebook has their own ad profiles on you, so I beefed mine up a bit to give them more to pull from.

Thank you for posting. This is my EXACT question.

Laptop at home credits evenly, consistently across 1 hour. Desktop at work (different city) barely scrapes 2-3 rewards an hour, but sometimes, might award as high as 4-6. This is still half the earnings at best off the laptop. Why?

Same browser (chrome based) same flash version (22), i can't see any reason why ads are not playing on the desktop. It is supposed to be 1 credit per 3 videos yes? Then why is it more like 1:12 on the desktop? It's terrible. If the admin/rep for engage is reading this, please help!!

(this feedback is based on about 1.5 months of consistent daily use, so it's not a recent thing - it's since the beginning. the video channels and the advertisements on those channels are the same - god knows i've watched them all dozens of times now to be sure!)
