I love her today
As I lay most of my weight on the metal pole of the metro
And began writing this poem
My anxiousness became clear;
Today I fell in love again
I fell in love for a day
Maybe a few hours more
Today I went out to somewhere for work
With mostly serious people on the floor
There I met a lady who was unlike others
She worked there yet she wasn't so serious
When she talked to me about my application
I noticed the air of ease that surrounded her
An introvert like me couldn't help but open up
And a few sentences after, I couldn't help but fall
She was not by any standards sexy
Even so, she was cute all the more
She talked a little funny, her face was kind of awkwardly spherical
But by the cute way she talked, I fell in love with her
The way she mispronounced the 's' sounds as 'sh',
Made me fall all the more
Her kind eyes, I still can't forget
The person she was, left her impression on me
I want to remember her forevermore
But couldn't tell her how I felt, since I've felt like this before
Today I fell in love once more
Once again, for the same reason, I feel hurt
I still remember her face, I still remember those words
I am sad because I wasn't able to tell her, that I wanted her as my girl
I feel sorry for myself, not much I can do to make it work
These things only give further rise to my anxiety
These things only depress me further
Yet I can't help but think about her, just a little bit more
Yet I can't help wishing that I can talk to her once more
I wanted to tell her about those feelings that are still bubbling up inside of me
The reason because of which butterflies occupy my tummy
But alas! I know, this love might not last forevermore
And besides I'm just a 19 year old
With no way to give her everything she deserves
Even if she held a small job, she sure deserves a lot more
Than the worthless man I am
And besides, I must be a lot younger than her
Disregarding everything for once, I must say, I do love her a lot today
But I just can't help it if it changes tomorrow
So I just played it safe for both of us
The only l regret I have now, is not asking her name
Maybe that fond, faint memory of us waving good bye to each other just might help me make it through today
No matter what though, the truth is
I love her today
(Though I know it's impossible;)
If only this love remains,
I'll try to meet her again tomorrow
Though I don't think I'll tell her the truth (of today)
I think I'll be glad if we could just stay friends
Even so, the one thing that will forever remain a fact; I loved her today (/this day)
PS: Right off the frying pan! Raw! This shit actually happened to me yesterday. Don't know if I'm over it yet.
PS(2): Has lots of grammatical and non-grammatical errors. I still have to edit it. I just wanted to share my story with Reddit as fast as I could. I hope you enjoyed it.
PS(3): Finally over it guise!
