Event Horizon in Utopia?

So I managed to trigger THE WORM in my first Utopia game, but it seems to have been bugged? Omega Theory hasn't appear despite research Entropic Recursion and Doctrine: Strange Loop over 100 years ago. Is this a known bug or am I just super, super unlucky?

I've had the same thing, it's been centuries, my empire has been destroyed and now there's a few fledgling colonies of synths who fled the destruction. Still waiting on Omega theory.

IIRC another user said that he tried using console commands and it no longer exists so I'd guess it's a bug.
