A few days ago my game wouldn't launch past the Launcher window. I did some searching online and saw quite a few people had this same issue (albeit a while ago) but only 1 thread I found managed to have a fix that worked for me.

If anyone else is having the same issue here is how you fix it. Find the AppData directory for Hitman III and delete all the files in that folder. Annoyingly, you have to do this every time you launch the game so I made a script that deletes those files and launches the game for me. I figured I would put it up here in case anyone else ran into the same issue.

I've recently learned that if I have G-SYNC on I will still get screen tearing if the frame rate exceeds what my monitor can display, unless I turn VSYNC on as well. I wanted to see the difference for myself so I changed my monitor's refresh rate to 120 because that is the max frame rate I can record in OBS. I left VSYNC off but left G-SYNC on and launched DOOM Eternal. I then recorded myself wiggling the mouse left and right. When I played back the video I saw no screen tearing despite going frame by frame.

I’ve been taking Phenibut on and off for a few years and recently got a Valve Index and Beat Saber. I was not a huge fan of the game for a while and wasn’t very good. Somehow I didn’t know that Phenibut makes music so good, more so than weed and psychs IMO. I took some Phenibut a few months ago and booted up beat saber and something just clicked and it’s just pure euphoria, I’ve gotten so fit from this and good at the game that I literally see colored blocks floating towards me when I’m zoning out.

I don’t really have a point to this other than I’ve struggled with getting motivation to do cardio and I never thought drugs and video games would be what does it for me. 😅

I've been learning about events in C# from Microsoft's documentation. In their example here they use the following code snippet to invoke an event.

Why are they creating a new EventHandler and setting it equal to another before invoking it? Why not just invoke ThresholdReached directly?

There is a popular coding problem where there is a bee starting in the center of a hexagonal honey comb. The bee can walk diagonally any direction and left and right. Given a number of steps N, you must figure out how many different paths the bee can take and end where it began. I created a solution that only works for N = 2, but I don't understand why. I'm not asking for the solution, I just can't figure out where I went wrong. Here is my code.

I am doing a new game+ run and immediately after I watch the video of Morgan I'm running around exploring the lobby. I find a door that's broken so I use mimic matter to get in. Apparently the door leads to psychotronics and when I walk through January calls me asking how I got into psychotronics, that isnt where he told me to go. I love the fact the developers actually added dialogue for unlikely scenarios like this.

I repeatedly get an event where someone joins my council for 25 years and I cannot fire them. What causes this? They have no hooks on me and it seemingly happens at random.

There have been so many times when I wish I could see one characters opinion of another but I seem to only be able to see my opinion of them and vice versa. Is it even possible?

Relatively new to the game and was wondering what you guys think are must takes and ones to avoid. 2 in particular ihave questions with are the enthusiast scrolls and Hawkeye. The only enthusiast scroll that seems good is lightning and Hawkeye just doesn't seem worth it.
