[TOMT][GAME]A first-person fantasy adventure game I played at school
This was a PC game on the computers at school, so DOS, that definitely came out no later than 1994 and was absolutely not cutting edge at that time, but it did use the mouse and I believe it was EGA.
What I remember of it is that it was a first-person, fairy-tale fantasy adventure game. There was a recurring location that was a two rows of stones or portals with a path between them, and clicking on a stone would send you to what felt like a random scenario. You'd try and make a little progress, and something would happen (you'd get a treasure or there'd be a setback), and you'd return to the stones screen.
I'm curious to watch a Longplay of it and try and work out as an adult what I missed as a kid.

Myst was 1993-1994, but IIRC it was considered cutting edge because it came on CDROM?
First person games were very rare back then. Oh my, EGA. 1994. That's 486 days.
Definitely not Myst - the graphics were much cruder and hand-drawn, and I'd seen Myst by that point, which is why I considered this game primitive.
