Little explanation.
For clarification, I am not a new mod. The Discord qualifies for the partnership program, and the other mods agreed on doing it when another mod, u/Fergenshunffer, brought it up a while ago. Unfortunately, for communities, the owner needs to be a mod on the sub in order to submit the request (contacted Discord on Twitter in order to confirm). Invaderzz was contacted about it today, and he agreed on modding me temporarily in order to submit the request.
I will only be a mod until an email is received, informing me if we have been accepted or denied.

And you'll still be mod longer than Mistberg
I would laugh at this, but I only lasted a month myself.
:(
still longer than a 1/4 of previous mods.
I still miss u bby
and i dont want to miss a thing
Still one of the best mods.
What happened with Mistberg?
He stepped down from being a mod after like 30 minutes if I remember correctly.
This was like 6 or 7 months ago.
30 minutes?! Why? Could he not take the pressure?
probably because he didn't really give a shit
Isn't being a mod easy?
no
Not really. It's a mixture of being the fact of a community and also having to moderate and use your judgment. If you make a mistake, you'll be sure to know about it. People are judgmental and can take one small issue and drive it out of proportion. Luckily, I moderate a smaller community but still it could happen. Furthermore, having remain neutral in situations and having a level head can take a toll. That's why most moderator applications ask for people above a certain age; they usually are more mature and can handle complex situations better than those of a younger age.
Then there's drama that each and every community causes. Growing pains as some people call it. These situations are often very publicized and a lot of misinformation is spread because of it. These situations are hard to deal with and as a moderator, it seems like an impossible task to handle with it. Especially if it involves you, then say goodbye to all of the confidence that the community had in you.
Then there are the little parts of the community that you have to think about. What are important dates, what are bad topics, what are some nice ways to approach subjects, how should this thing be done or that thing, who can I get help from, what are some interesting ways to make this happen, and etc. Then there is having to decide if someone is being a troll or if someone is just too young to use English correctly.
The spam filter can get annoying, and automod is a chore to work with. The stylesheet is finnicky and the wiki is easy to destroy. There is often a lack of communication with the admins and a suggestion box for mod tools is hard to find. Criticism of the mod team is given often by the community and etc.
Luckily, I've recently become a moderator of a small community and they are a nice group of people. I treat them with respect and they've only shined in response. These problems I've listed only scale in size along with the growth of the community, and it can get overwhelming.
So no, it is not easy being a moderator. But it is rewarding.
It's rewarding by the reaction of the users. Their reaction to the love and support you put into the community. Their comments on posts and their involvement with the community. It rewards the moderators when we see a lively community form under you. A community that you've fostered and a community that you love. That's the reward.
It is not easy, but it is rewarding.
He was a mod for a little while, and eventually quit the sub
