Fossil Q Founder + ZTE Axon 7 = No data over Bluetooth?

Hello fellow wear enthusiasts,

Ever since my watch got the update to 2.0 it can only get a data connection over WiFi it seems. If I disable wifi on my watch, it will still get notifications on it over Bluetooth from my phone, but I can't get to the play store or anything else.

I've checked all the permissions on both my watch and my phone for all the usual culprits and everything seems to check out. Is anyone else having this problem? I've done many Google searches on this, but it's tough to find anything concrete.

Suggestions? Thanks guys!

UPDATE: This has to be a bug on Fossils end. If my watch is connected to WiFi, but the WAP has no access to the internet, my watch will happily get data from my phone across Bluetooth. They've got a bug somewhere across their watch lines. I can repeat this with my wife's Fossil Q and her Nextbit Robin. Stinks :-\

UPDATE 2: After a few hours, it just magically started working.  ¯_(ツ)_/¯
