Rati would be sorta hard... I'd have to craft the laser/wings out of something else and slot them in. I could probably swing it with dyed, molded epoxy, and a 3d-printed mold.
It'd be work, but doable, now that I stop to think about it.

As I noted in the build, I do want to make a MAG that's LED-lit in the eye/lens... I could easily run a strip under the slot-in for the Rati, too, if I were to make one.
That'd be some ace cosplay.
I've played with the idea of printing armor pieces and Cosplaying Wren from PS4; having a MAG with me wouldn't be so far gone for that, heh.
My next project I'm working on is a PS4 Land Rover... another thing I always thought would make a neat toy/figure that no one ever made.

True, it could be difficult. I was thinking maybe doing the wings with a translucent filament in vase mode, then attaching them to the body later. Or possibly some laser cut acrylic... kind of crazy what kind of things we can make now with tools in our own homes or makerspaces!

I'd have to look into clear filaments. The one's I've seen don't nearly reach the quality I'd want, but I haven't seen much of what's out there, I'm sure.
So far, this'd be the first thing I've looked at for it (though I do know a lot of things that'd work well with it, offhand).
I'm very familiar with dying epoxy molds (Mock gems, for example), so I know that'd work, so it's where my brain went, heh.
One wife sews and digs power tools; the other likes ceramics, some woodworking, and loves painting and lots of meticulous works (Things like gemstone-adhesion or sequins... takes forever, but is fantastic for burlesque). I've been trying to find ways to apply this for cash or glory, but this is some of the best response I've gotten so far~

Oh man I forgot about PSO. I played so much PSO ep 1&2 co-op with my best mate. Good times.
PSO2, the more recent game? PSO v2, the DC title? Ep 1&2, for GC/XBOX?
Man this brought back memories. I used to bring my gamecube to my friend's house and we'd both have a TV and play online for hours. What a good game.
It's still up and running on private servers, if you're willing to do a little poking around to connect your GC to non-SEGA servers. Alternatively, Blue Burst (Ep. 1, 2, & 4) is on PC, and is everything PSO Ep. 1&2 was and more (also on private servers).
I absolutely love Phantasy Star, and while I prefer PS4 to PSO, that's not to say that PSO isn't an amazing game~
