#I cannot do this all day and will probably stop after the 2 PM News Time Slot, so if someone else wants to take over that would be much appreciated.
#This great thread from/r/dndnext is doing a similar play-by-play in case I miss stuff
#Update One
-
From yesterday's stream, it has become clear that Tomb of Annihilation is all about death. The DM has the power to scale back the level of deadliness, but the inevitable conclusion of the entire game is deadlier quests.
-
It ends with a dungeon (Supposedly the new Tomb of Horrors).
-
To quell the comments about, "Oh another bland Forgotten Realms storyline, where's my Eberron?!" Chris Perkins and Mike Mearls have made it quite clear that The Land of Chult is an environment unlike anything else. It is filled with new, exciting races, monsters, geography, and quests. While it is the Forgettable Realms, it is unlike the adventures before it.
-
Four-Armed Gargoyle Mini coming out from WizKids.

#Update Two: Betrayal at Baldur's Gate
-
Avalon Hill, a tabletop strategy gaming company that created such games as Axis & Allies and Risk, is working with the Wizards of the Coast for their game Betrayal at House on the Hill (a horror roleplaying exploration game) and are now releasing Betrayal at Baldur's Gate
-
It is a semi-cooperative role-playing game set in the town of Baldur's Gate. It should be very familiar for players of Betrayal now with a D&D flavor added to it.
-
There are 50 different haunts (or adventures) within the game. The haunts will include familiar baddies like dopplegangers and spheres of annihilation.
-
Characters will now have classes a la D&D rather than being just normal dudes in regular Betrayal
-
Playtesters have called it a good introductory system for D&D or nice for in between sessions. Betrayal players will see no real difference in the two systems.
-
It will be available October 6th in gaming stores everywhere
#Update Three
