What is the highest level 1 for 1 trade you could do today that would help both teams?
What I mean by highest level is like a superstar being traded for another superstar, but it helping both teams in the process. There's lots of stars out there who are very valuable to their team, but if you were to take them off it whomever replaced may not fill the hole they left behind. An example would be like trading LeBron for Durant. And I know LeBron is more valuable, but just for the sake of this topic the Warriors likely get better and the Cavs probably get worse. So it doesn't work out great for both sides. The Warriors with a great Center would be unstoppable, and a team like the Pelicans could use a great PG, but trade Steph Curry for Anthony Davis and now there's a whole at the 1 for GS and it throws off their style of play without the legendary shooting of Curry.

Okafor for Dwayne Wade
Actually pretty interesting and accurate
minus Wade's unsigned 1 year player option
and us Sixers' fans being pick/young talent fanatics
hmmm
Yes
Fuck it
Would Wade be down to play in Philly?
If he's willing to be a leader and be a player-coach for the guys, yeah. He could have a lasting impression on the youngest core with the most potential in the NBA.
Fultz/Wade/Saric/Simmons/Embiid - it's like a dad playing with a bunch of his sons. I kind of love this.
Plus the Bulls don't have to pay Wade and Okafor gets a fresh start? Not bad.
If Wade gives the kind of effort on defense that he did last season though, it could impose some bad habits on the young'uns.
If not his hometown team, and assuming he doesn't go to a top tier team, why not?
Cuz he wants to play for Chicago or a contender most likely. Philly is rebuilding.
? Those are my exceptions
Hometown Team = Chicago
Contender = Top Tier Team
