I got a job (finally)!

A few months ago I interviewed with a school close to home but due to some kind of weird circumstances it didn't work out. Well yesterday the same school called me and told me that due to one of the teachers accepting a new position within the school, a position was open and they said it was mine if I wanted it. I said yes! I went in today to sign my contract and I'll be teaching 6-8th grade reading with a 7th grade homeroom. I'm honestly so happy- this school is close to home, I'm familiar with the area, and I'll be making $5000 more than I was at my last school. My weekend just got infinitely better! No more waiting around for interview calls (or lack thereof).
