[Questionnaire] Readerr's Sci-Fi/Fantasy Questions

Hi all!

I was inspired by u/PrettyBookworm 's Keeping it Lit(erate) survey, which I will answer soon.

Fantasy is one of my fav genres, so I wanted to find out what you guys like too.

1. Science Fiction or Fantasy?

2. Did you have a favorite SF/F book when you were growing up?

3. Do you read “teen” SF/F now? Why or why not?

4. What is your favorite SF/F series or franchise? (can be books, graphic novels, movies, tv shows, or video games)

5. Who is your favorite SF/F author or authors?

6. Zombies or unicorns?

7. Are there any movies (SF/F or not) that you liked more than the original book?

8. If you could get a drink with any character from these books/movies/etc. who would it be?

9. Star Wars or Star Trek?

10. Do you have a favorite erotic SF/F book?

11. Have you ever written any sci-fi or fantasy stories? If not, what type of world would you write about?

12. Slight tangent – Can you separate an artist from their personal beliefs? I’m thinking of Orson Scott Card and his recent public views on LGBTQ issues.

Bonus question: Why’d it have to be spiders? Tell me a major SF/F series/franchise of any format that doesn’t include at least one giant spider.
