Yeah; I think I prefer the Xth(or 1/2/3) form's appearance better.

I think I'd prefer this one if it wasn't for the bare chest. That part is a little much.
But too be fair, I think I liked the Xth form the least because of the those silly trash can lids on Haseo's butt. The first and second form looked great, and I pretty quickly got used to the hips and spine cape of the third form. Even the weird neck thing on the Xth grew on me after a while, but those plates flapping on his butt just never sat right with me. I loved the rest of the Xth Form's design though.

Yeah, butt plates were bad, but the rest of Xth form was pretty cool. The new form is alright, but if I were to rate them: Xth>2nd>=5th>3rd>1st.
EDIT: That's not to say that I disliked any of them though. I think they're all pretty good.

That's absolutely insane, would not have expected an entire new fourth volume. Here's to hoping it's pretty lengthy. I don't want the g.u. adventures to ever end.

Anyone else thing Vol. 4 is gonna be the equivilany of a DLC sized expansion pack? New form, new items, a quest, special dungeon, and maybe that's it?

That's what I'm thinking. Hoping we get at least 10 hours, and would love if we could get a full 20 hour game out of 'em.

I'd even be okay if it was just a repetitive quest line like the chaotic PK or the item completion event.
Like, let's bring back the original grunties and call them Ancient Grunties and you have to go to some super hard dungeons and fact giant versions of Noble Grunty, Rocker Grunty, etc. And they're all the same graphic with some slight tweaks, and the last one is like a Data Bug Grunty. So it's basically just a dozen or so hard dungeons with differentish bosses. I could see that.

Or maybe an IMOQ 8 Phases boss dungeon. Defeating Cubia unleashed their original copies. Haseo has Data Drain, so he could theoretically beat them. Defeating them gets you Virus Cores to free Ovan, or something like that.

Ooooh shit that's an actually good idea. My grunty idea is Goblin level of side quest, not full blown DLC story. Were you meaning that Ovan could then become a playable character, because that NEEDS to happen. And give us Asta and Iyoten while they're at it.

Does it mention a new Root Town anywhere? I haven't seen that, just references to a place called Qua Holme which seems to more likely be a Lost Ground.
