Loot conversion idea!
Let me know if I'm entirely off base, but after nearly a week of playing I've noticed that the biggest difficulty I have in effectively utilizing loot is that I have tons of the common stuff and not enough of the premium stuff (for lack of a better name). I've noticed that 3 of the premium things are also only accessible via loot bags.
So my idea is simple: introduce a place where you can convert (maybe like the bazaar, different items every day) the common stuff for the premium stuff but at a terrible rate. So like 10:1, and then maybe 20 or 25:1 for the premium loot that's loot bag locked.
I don't think this'll make the game too easy because you still have to farm in the first place, and imo it's just a Quality of Life thing in the long run (instead of being at the mercy of RNG 100% for some of the loot).

I have played for 9 days and I have around 2500 common materials. You suggest an exchange rate of 1:25? That would give me 100 premium materials which can buy me 5x five star chars or weapons from the bazaar. That seems really overpowered.
It would be 25 of the rare materials for 1 of the rarest materials. So 250 of the most commong materials for 1 of the rarest materials. That would give you 10. Actually I am not sure, the OP really put this in a weird way, could you be more clear about your rates and can we just set rarities from 1 - 4 going from lowest to highest ? 4 Being the unfarmable resources, 1 being things like Cactus.
Rarest being hero merit, dragon scale, and oblivion chalice? I like that

considering 5 star units from bazaar are extremely rare, not really.

I wasn't even considering layered conversion like feutor suggested but you shouldn't forget this could be limited in other ways (like max 10 converts). It would also be locked behind some degree of RNG because of the nature of the bazaar (limited available trades).
