I find love in the strangest things
I find love in the strangest things
From whispered barbs to broken rings
To secret, now uncovered flings
And shouting at near everything
There’s nothing quite as sweet I think
As crying by the kitchen sink
Or talking to a useless shrink
Then fixing empty vows with drink
I could forever watch the task
Of Going to a judge to ask
For something petty like a flask
And see the stripping back of masks
Cause in the end I still see care
Fossilised love between the pair
And though it really isn’t fair
It was still love that got them there
