A Fond Farewell

Over the past few months, Ashton seems to have suffered a curse. All the good ones, those capes who posed such great ideas and such wonderful fanart, have been stolen away. The sensual love between Empress Morgan and her faithful steward Violet Knight ended abruptly and unjustly in tears and death. That wild and untamed force that was Arrak, vanishing into thin air after a one night standoff with the Protectorate. And need I even mention the tragedy of Sundown and Copperhead. Why must Fate crush such beauty.
With the appearance of the jovial and tentacled Seth, and the arrival of the tall, dark and mysterious Mythos, things seemed so promising. Alas, twas not to be. Such budding romances between these menacing villains, and the spry young ward we knew as Pussycat looked like the stuff of dreams. I will always remember the possibilities young one, and I wish you all the best in your future endeavors. Maybe in a few years you'll realize your true potential.
At least we have our knights in shining armor. Oh Solitaire how I long for you.
