[Event] Convention

The time has come. The groundwork has been laid, if somewhat accidentally, over the last decade. All reports indicate that the people have been appeased by recent investment in the cantons -- particularly its associate states, who are most likely to resist further governmental oversight, and the rural communities, who hold the most independent traditions.

Now the representatives of the Tagsatzung eye with considerable greed the official expansion of federal authority -- for the greater good, of course -- and, with supermajority approval, call in delegations from all the cantons and associates of the Confederacy to aid in the establishment of a new guiding document for this next stage in Swiss history.

Considering past precedent and the sheer constitutional scope involved, it is expected to be many months of deliberation before a final constitutional draft is created -- what form this will take, besides being republican in nature, is yet unknown.
