Lost channels with Cox

Did anyone else just loose channel 7 (WDSU) from their Cox lineup? I lost it on all boxes in the house, and coxcommitment.com is down.

Just got this email

Dear Cox Customer,

You may have noticed that programming from a network Cox usually carries on our lineup is not available. This is because the network owner is not allowing Cox to make this network available to our customers. This is due to a dispute that is all about how much money the network owner is demanding from Cox and their viewers who are Cox customers to continue to include their network on our lineup. We want you to have more choice, control and value from all the TV programming you pay for each month, and we are committed to delivering that value to you.

We've created www.coxcommitment.com to be the source of accurate and up to date information about this dispute. Please visit the site to learn more about the dispute including alternative viewing solutions when a network is temporarily unavailable on the Cox lineup, and to learn more about Cox's commitment to our customers.

Sincerely,

Len Barlik Chief Operating Officer Cox Communications

Oh well WDSU. I like FOX8 better anyways.

So it just for the news , not for everything else ?

Edit: I lost the entire channel of NBC , not just wdsu programming.

Don't I need an antenna for that? I can do it with my non cable tv but when I flip to it with my regular tv , just static

i do have an antenna but it requires putting it on my coax cable hole and i only have one, that means twisting it off and on everyday.. great

Don't know if it would work but they do make splitters for the coax cables

If you were happy every day of your life you wouldn't be human...you'd be a gameshow host.

I see no downside to this.

I missed a whole month of NBC programming when Dish had their spat in February. Most of the shows I watch are on NBC so I had to hunt down every episode I missed on the NBC app.

Yep! And there was no warning for days or weeks like direct tv or att does. I had no idea. Wonder what else they took without telling us

I vaguely remember seeing something on that channel recently something about renegotiations. Maybe they fell through?

So wdsu off of Cox, Fox 8 off of DirecTv...guess it's a good thing I'm on Dish and all of Their contracts are up to date.
