Apparently there is a show of support outside the school this morning. Hope the message gets across, my niece will be attending there next school year.

No labels (democracy, body politic, organizing) are necessary to see the power of people who put their mind to an effort. It's so self evident.

I know how easy it is to focus on the negative stimuli, of which there is plenty. That never negates the positive facts that lie between the staccato heart flutters. We only notice our heart when it skips a beat or stops. But that power and openness is always there, even when it finally does stop. These kids are making an impact that will help shape the school.

They're going to carry that inner strength to endure and be strong through their entire lives.

I just can't focus on the negative when this gathering of like minds can blot out negative stuff like the moon can the sun. "omg the moon is so small, how could it ever block the sun!" yet...

It’s not like this in Clay County, everyone just seems to get along and do their own things. The teens seem very well behaved and focused.

You know who definitely wouldn't harass lgbtqqtia students. Teens from Jackson county, cause that's where all the progressive students go. /S

Lol, they are teens. They will relentlessly mock someone for wearing the wrong shade of nail polish. Some of them will grow out of it, some of them will always be pieces of shit. It's just the way the world works.

If you look at things like the_donald and 4chan, you see a lot of younger people going to the alt-right. Maybe because it's the new rebellious thing to do. Maybe because a lot of people feel smothered by the way the "alt-left" behaves (SJWs, overly politically correct people, groups like BLM whom the alt-right deems racist). Maybe because the alt-right has all those dank memes and those are literally a form of legitimate communication to some young people today.

I'm not sure about what's going on but that is what I have seen in some places. (I don't necessarily agree with any of that by the way, though I will admit that some new wave feminists are super annoying.)

They're just bored teenagers. The majority will go to college and mature, and a small portion will never change and will soon be spamming this sub with their shitty opinions like a few users who will remain unnamed.
