This probably is old news to pretty much everyone... But...

Mrs. Hugie Lewis and I paid an overdue visit to BKS this afternoon, and they did not disappoint. I'd tried several of their beers before, but damn. They have a great, if small taproom. Fantastic vibe, fantastic beer.

Don't sleep on BKS.

Planning an upcoming project in the kitchen that requires some banana leaves. Anyone know where to source locally? Would the price chopper in roeland park be a safe bet, or do I need to venture further into the world of ethnic groceries?

Big thanks to anyone that came out to Brewhoff in OP this past weekend. We cleared through over 18 gallons of beer, a record for us. We also discovered that you guys really like our sours! So we'll be sure to make things even funkier in the future.

Barring any big changes, we are done serving for the year. It's time to relax, and do some R&D for next year.... Which is going to be a big year for us, just watch! If anyone needs a fix before then feel free to hit us up here, or via the social media of your choice!

Thanks again!

Are we the only ones who seem to have never ending issues with mail and package delivery?

Just tonight we had a box scheduled to be delivered from Amazon through USPS. Didn't arrive. Checked tracking. Claimed that delivery had been attempted... Not so much. I know this because Mrs. Hugie Lewis and I were sitting out front enjoying some finely brewed beers, literally waiting for the delivery.

This has been on ongoing issue for us. We order a lot online. We get a decent amount of mail. Sometimes things just never show. Or things are marked delivered, only to arrive weeks later. I actually went to the post office to complain awhile ago, things improved ever so slightly...for a little while.
