I have a friend
I have a friend
We met when I was seventeen
I didn't see him often then
We're now so close, We're practically the same
I have a friend
He doesn't like when I go out
So he tags along and always shouts
Right in my ear "go home"
No one else can hear
Me and my friend
We talk deep into the night
He often keeps me up with his incessant fucking voice
But we never fight, because I know he'll win
Me and my friend
He never calmly talks to me when something's on his mind
He screams and shouts and sometimes he cries
Then down he lies, and tries to sleep
I have a friend
Although I've never really liked him, nor him me
But misery craves company I suppose
And during the throws of those years alone
He appeared and moaned "I'm here until the end"
