I'm the only vegan in a big family, and the holidays get easier every year. I brought lentil loaf and gravy, and my mom and sister supplied stuffing, cranberry sauce, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beets, broccoli, and acorn squash. Feels great to be supported. :)

This looks amazing and it’s really good to know that your family supports you :-)

It's been a journey. A few years ago I would have to beg for them to set aside some veggies without butter. This year they made sure I could have some of all the sides and my sister even set aside some stuffing and cooked it on the stovetop without me asking her to. The most painless vegan holiday meal I've had so far. It just took some time.
