Spooked podcast recycling old Snap Judgement episodes
I was so excited for this week's Spooked release, only for them to recycle another old Snap story again. Just needed to vent!

That's my gripe about Snap Judgement right there. Every three or four episodes, it seems, they rebroadcast an old show. It's one thing for them to do it, it's another thing for them not to tell you theyre doing it. So I always find myself disgustedly turning it off after 2 minutes when I recognize something that Glynn says in his opening story.

Hey, it is Mark from Snap. This is good feedback. We don't want you turning off. I want to move us to a new format of no repeats on Snap Judgment. We do number the episodes to tip off listeners, but obviously this is not working. Regarding Spooked, next season is all-new. Guaranteed.

Thanks, Mark! Don't get me wrong, rebroadcasts are fine (if fewer of them, perhaps). Just label them as such in the episode title. In my podcast app, at least, I can't see the episode number (and it wouldn't necessarily mean anything if I did).
All this is small potatoes, of course. You have created the world's most epic podcast, and now a spin-off. I really appreciate your coming on here and listening to my gripe when you have bigger fish to fry as the Überproducer--and explaining your strategy. Good luck and more power to the Snap!

Ahh really? I first started listening to Spooked when it came out, then subscribed to Snap Judgement and binged all their Campfire Tales. Now every new Spooked release has at least one story recycled from Campfire Tales. I hate that they don't mention it! Happened again with today's release with the French guy and the ouija board.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that. And they even advertise special Halloween episodes.. I wonder if other episodes will be released passing as new one's

I know one before was another Snap Judgement story, possibly the Borderlands episode? Yeah I was so annoyed!

Thank you! So glad someone else noticed. It’s been going on for two or three weeks now. I tweeted at them about it to no avail.
I’m a bit bummed. Spooked was supposed to be a dedicated podcast to get more content. Instead they put out some great stuff and then went back into their catalog and grabbed stuff from old Spooked specials. I believe last week they re-ran the story about the doll and the week before that the boy in the woods...

Yep I agree. They never responded to your tweets? Such a bummer cause there were some genuinely good stories here and there but half the time now they’re recycled campfire tales from Snap. Ugh

Hey, it's Mark from Snap. I hear you. Season Two of Spooked will be ALL-NEW. We have mostly new listeners with the Spooked podcast who have never heard the original stories. We try to feature the new stories first in the Spooked podcast for Snap listeners. I'm gonna go down the list here and address the other concerns. Thx.
So Spooked isn't just a seasonal thing, but a new weekly format?
Not weekly. We are planning on Season 2, but when it will drop is up to a few factors. It will be next year at the latest. It will be a new season of scary stories gathered over this next coming year. We are already hunting.

Just yesterday I was listening to one of the podcasts and heard Glen comment that the series would culminate with the Halloween episode.
I appreciate the additional content over the usual single scary episode from past years. I was hoping it would continue past Halloween.
