I have psoriasis on my vulva and in my vagina (yeah, it’s as fun as it sounds). I’ve had trouble finding an effective treatment and it’s now worse than ever. My dermatologist has just put me on Betamethasone Valerate 0.05% ointment twice a day and recommended using diaper cream with 15% zinc oxide inside my vagina, throughout the day as needed.

I’m a bit skeptical about these two treatments for a few reasons:

  • he said there’s evidence to suggest there’s no harm in continued use of betamethasone and to keep using it til our next appointment in a couple of months from now. However I’ve used it for other skin issues and doctors & pharmacists always cautioned me to only use for 14 days max.

I just had a devastating experience which resulted in me parting ways with someone I love and deeply care about. Their parting words were said in anger and really stung. What's worse is that this is the last memory and encounter I will ever have with them, after so many years together.

This was only a few hours ago and I don't know how to process it. I only have one other person that I ever talk to, and I can't really talk to them about this. I feel numb and incredibly alone now. I would really love some comforting words right now :(

r/Welbutrin•

I had chronic insomnia before I started taking Wellbutrin (on 300mg in the morning for about 2 months now). I used to take Trazodone (100mg) every night for sleep which was great, it put me out in 20 mins, I’d sleep through the night, and I’d wake up refreshed.

Since starting Wellbutrin, I can’t take Trazodone anymore because I will wake up with a painful headache. I don’t think this could be SSRI syndrome because Wellbutrin is not an SSRI, but the two still seem to interact. I tried cutting the dose to 25mg-50mg because anything more would give me a headache, but that dose was too low to be effective.

My doctor now has me on 4mg lorazepam (Ativan) every night, but I don’t find it effect

I want to commend Casefile on naming the episodes after the victims rather than the perpetrators, when possible. Too often the victims are forgotten amidst the murderers' notoriety and fame in the media.

For example, it would have been easy to name the most recent episode 'Adolfo Constanzo' or 'The Godfather murders' or 'The Narcosatanists', etc - perhaps it would have even garnered more listeners out of recognition. Calling it 'Mark Kilroy' instead keeps the focus on the victim, his suffering and his memory and diminishes the perpetrator.

Thank you Casefile for always being such a respectful and considerate true crime podcast.

Looking to get a much needed 30-min or so neck & shoulder massage, preferably downtown Rideau/Byward Market area. Can only seem to find places that do 60 minute massages which would be a bit much for me! Any recommendations greatly appreciated :)
